NEW PLAYGROUND
OPENS IN BANJUL
The First Lady of The Gambia, Madam Zineb Yahya Jammeh
in her capacity as President of the Jammeh Foundation
for Peace has, on Thursday 27th May 2004, inaugurated
the 22nd July Square Children’s Playground in
Banjul. The playground was rehabilitated and refurbished
with new ‘first-class quality’ equipment
installed, worth more than D1.8 million. The equipment
is made up of aluminium and fibreglass materials to
